I will admit that the education I got at Rockford Lutheran is vastly superior to that of the public school graduates I have met but I have to be clear that this is because I didn't listen to what I was taught. I had Steinbacher beginning and ending lessons by saying "everything I will teach you today is false but the state says I have to teach it." Kolwey's comaprative religion classes should have been called "how to ridicule people of other religions for pointless pendantic, semantic, and often xenophobic reasons." Ploss with his 9 iron and ability to twist claim scripture should be followed without interpretation and then spend 45 minutes interpreting scripture in such a way as to match the conservative Wisconsin Synod views of the school... ugh. I don't know if those teachers even teach there anymore but the bottom line is if you want your kids to get a healthy dose of religious conservative brainwashing complete with steaming servings of self-righteousness, hypocrisy, and fascism this school is top notch!
