The River Gallery is located withing the Bluff View Arts District. It is situated in a renovated old home and is very nice to wander through. Because it's in an old home, there are several rooms that you can wander through, making a circle around the gallery. Most of the art shown here is by local or regional artists. They have everything from blown glass to sculpture to painting, photography and jewelry, plus lots more. The staff is helpful, but will also leave you alone to browse, which I appreciate. There is ample parking within the Bluff View District and you can also park across the street at the Hunter Museum. If you're in the area, be sure to check the gallery out.
