The Gristmill is an old mill that was turned into a restaurant . It is located in downtown historic Gruene. The restaurant itself is huge with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. The Gristmill is not air conditioned, but the windows are opened to keep the air circulating. The restaurant is located right next to the Gruene river, and patrons can take a walk down to the river as they wait for their food.The food is to die for. Everything at the Gristmill is exquisite. I do not even like Spinach Artichoke Dip, and their's is wonderful. The Gristmill also has a full bar. Dining at the Gristmill makes for a new and unforgettable experience.
