French Twist is a cute, smaller beauty salon. Every time I visited French Twist there was usually only two people working, the receptionist and occasionally a hair stylist. They also have two tanning beds in this small shop which is beneficial because it looked to me that they got more business from the tanning beds than their hair stylists. They had a few chairs for waiting in the middle of the store and often the woman answering the phones would gossip and talk about people that came in the salon to people on the phone. In a town full of college students, it seemed that mostly locals came here and I soon quit going because I felt uncomfortable.
