This is one of the nicest parks in Raleigh. It is located past the YMCA on Baileywick road. There is plenty of parking and picnic area underneath a shelter. Children of all ages will enjoy the large sandbox, jungle gyms, swings, ride on toys etc. We like to go there with our playgroup to let the children play in the morning and then have lunch at the shelter. It can get pretty crowded on a beautiful day, but don't let that stop you from going. It also has bathrooms & water fountian near shelter area!!
