We went to the Houston Zoo this summer and were very disappointed. The exhibits were very small and dirty. The glass was so filthy, you couldn't see through it to see the animals. The grass and weeds were so tall, it did not look like it had been kept up at all. The whole zoo literally stunk. The exhibits were poorly laid out and we could not see any animals. Literally the only animal we saw the entire time was the elephants and one giraffe. They also did not have adequate seating or places to cool off. I will never go back to the Houston zoo, and I was very very disappointed. Even my 2 year old was begging to go home, he was not having a good time.
