I have been a member of American Consumer Opinion Panels for several years. They are run through Decision Analyst, Inc., a Market Research company out of Texas. I have been paid several times for completing short surveys, and have participated in some great product tests, where I got to keep the product, but more importantly, was given the opportunity to give my honest opinion, and help the company know what I, as a consumer, liked about the products, and what I thought could or should be improved. It benefits both us, as consumers, and the product manufacturers, as they can develop products that will better meet our needs.
Most of the ACOP surveys I receive offer a few short screener questions, to see if I meet the profile that the company is wanting to gain opinions from. If I qualify, I complete the longer survey, for a small monetary award. I think most of their surveys have paid between $4 and $15, but they do sometimes offer much larger payments for longer studies... of course, I cannot mention what products or companies they represent, as when you join, you agree to the privacy statements. But I can tell you that I have really enjoyed my experiences as a member of this panel, and they have always offered great support, and are there to answer any questions you may have.
I would definitely recommend this company, as I have been with them for several years and have never had one complaint, but many great things, to say about them!
