After seeing her ad in a local publication, I went to see her. I was looking for a contraceptive and a prescription for my joint pain. After I told her I wanted a Depo-Provera, she immediately said that I needed to come back and that some other blood or urine tests needed to be made. I felt that she only wanted to collect extra money with unnecessary appontments and tests. I told her a was not sexually active and therefore; I couldn't be pregnant. She kept flipping her eyes in disbelief and for the first time I felt that my doctor was not trusting me at all. I even told her I could sign any document if she likes but no use. After 30 minutes of trying to convince her that I was telling her the truth, I said I think I am wasting my time in here and getting no contraceptive. She got up and told me to leave. I had so much emotional distress afterwards. She even dare to bill me for almost $400.00 for her visit. I don't see why doctors like this one should be in practice at all. Two weeks later a found a great doctor that gave me a contracptive right then and respected me as a person.
