I am from Chicago and I went all the way to Texas to find a prom dress this year and I must have tried on over 200 dresses before I found THE ONE. I first went to L'Patricia where I found a lot of dresses that I liked and then the sales girl told me about Whatcamacallit. So after going to L'Patricia and all of the Special Occasions stores I decided to go to Whatcamacallit. When I got there the store was packed with dresses and people and there was a guy in the front with a bull horn calling his workers. The first day i was there I was just too with all the chaos and I only tried on 6 dresses. So I decided to return the next when everyone else was at work and school and that's when I found the dress. This was no ordinary dress I had walked past it the day before and because it was a dark color and had black beading I didn't like it much. But it kept running through my mind so I tried it on and it was the dress I purchased. It was originally 500 dollars but the price I paid was 150. It was a debate between this one and one at Special Occasion's but I took into consideration that the people were more friendly here than there so I have that dress. The dress is like a peacock blue/ dark turquoise with beading in the front and back. It's truly something I have not seen in Chicago. The color doesn't even come close.
