I went to Martins on the recommendation of a friend. The first time I went I think I got a senior stylist and I liked my haircut. She took her time and was thorough. The second time I went was just awful. I got my brows waxed and I ended up getting what looked like two rainbows on my face. No arch whatsoever! It's no coincidence that my brows turned out just like the waxers brows. She was very nice to me though. Then I got my haircut. I don't think the girl ever cut hair before! She was nice but very nervous. My hair is long and straight and not difficult to cut. She spent about 40 minutes cutting the right side of my head. She had not even touched the left side when the instructor came over, shook my hair around and declared me finished and said the whole thing was taking too long. I paid and left wondering what my hair looked like. In the car I could feel the difference in length of my hair just by feel. The next day I called and went back. The receptionist said "it wasn't that bad". Then I stood up and turned around and they saw how lopsided it was. I then got a great haircut from a senior. Sorry to say but I am not going back since the mistake was on the part of the instructor, not the student. She could have taken all day to cut my hair, I don't care as long as it wasn't totally crooked. From now on I just pay premium prices at an Aveda salon, at least I know I will love the results and not have clown brows.
