Cafe Luna opened a few years ago, when the daughter of the owner of the Bread Company and her husband wanted to start their own place in town. You'll notice several similarities between the two restaurants, especially at lunch. Lunch is alright, good food, a little fancy for a casual lunch, and a bit pricey. Dinner though is fantastic. They have a great wine list, great main dishes, and my favorite, an extensive tapas menu. Tapas are little plates in Spain, a few appetizer-like options to eat at the bar before dinner. But they're great to share with friends and two or three easily make a meal. They offer special event nights with the Corkscrew wine store in Urbana, where they pair wine with multi course meals that are always excellent. It is a small restaurant, where you often bump chairs with the person behind you. Reservations are necessary for lunch and dinner. While the lunch food is good, I would skip it and save up for the incredible dinner menu. Recently the owners opened a creperie next door called Tout Sweet. They sell coffee, crepes, and freshly made gelato. The crepes are great for a small lunch (savory) or a good dessert (sweet, more options). They desperately need more help though, and subsequently service takes awhile. more
