The museum and gift shop are only a small part of visiting Portland Headlight.It is situated in Ft Williams park which has playground equipment,old forts,a small beach,cookout areas,fileds for running and playing-it's a childs dream come true.It's also a popaular place for kite flying! The museum and gift shop are nice but they are not what draw me to Portland Head light.
