Everyone I know has raved about how good the food is. Not just typical mexican faire, they add a little flair to make their food stand out. It is really Mexican with more Aztec influence then tex-mex. While you wait for your meal they serve fresh tortilla chips and 4 salsas with varying heat and flavor. The food has always been hot, fresh and tasty. They have savory black beans and rice, great enchiladas, burritos and taquitos and even have a kids menu. I haven't been swooning terribly over their desserts but by the time I am done with my meal, I am quite satisfied and don't really want anything else.
The setting is charming; mostly outside seating with heat lamps for cold evenings, lovely water features and landscaping, great ambiance and no roving maraiacis (at least when I have been there) to ambush you with a trumpet in your ear.
Service to match the restaurant's quality.
May be quite busy weekend nights so arrive early or call to make a reservation.
