I think Krispy Kreme makes a decent donut; there's certainly nothing wrong with them. But I don't think they warrant all the hype they receive. The best part about KK is when they give out fresh donuts while you're waiting in line - they really taste the best when they're just seconds old. My favorite part about a KK classic donut is how light and airy they are.
