I like the idea of purchasing something and knowing my money will go to help someone. The Council of The Blind is not upscale by any stretch of the imagination. However, you can find some good used clothing, even wedding dresses. I gave my wedding dress to this thrift store, and it was lovely, so someone got a terrific deal. They have sale days and get things in constantly, so if you don't find something the first time around you can check back periodically.
