We spent several thousand dollars at Lowes when we remodeled our kitchen. We had a Home Depot 10% off coupon that the manager authorized to match. When it came down to paying at the front, the manager tried to refuse the 10% off. She finally gave it to us but refused to do it on a couple of our items. I thought she was being petty. She acted as though she was doing us a favor. Lowes advertises that they match and beat Home Depot prices. It was just ridiculous. Sadly, Home Depot does not carry the amount of appliances that Lowes does. We wanted to get everything from the same place and delivered at the same time. I am pleased with the merchandise but Lowes customer service is lacking. I will shop there if Home depot does not have what I need. Otherwise, I will just stick with Home Depot for our home improvements.
