Dive is a four letter word and has bad connotations and that's a shame. This '"dive" like many in this town and in NY City have alot of character. They also have pretty tasty food for very low prices. Located inside the Jefferson Park Bus Depot is a huge reason they have a good business. CTA and Metra employees are regulars here as are folks that pass thru like myself. I really like their soups and chilli the most. Since they passed the no-smoking law for restaurants this place is actually tolerable to sit inside nowdays for your snack. It is a small place with only a few tables so keep this in mind, mostly a to-go kinda place.
