Sushi is a frickin' ripoff in NYC most of the time--they all get the same stuff from Sunrise down on St. Mark's unless it's super-fancy and it's all you can do to find a place that cuts it right and gives you enough to where you can call it even. So in midtown, Kiku fits that bill for me. Nice big hunks, always fresh... Miso soup tastes a little different but good and pretty hearty. Speedy delivery too. But don't ask for some crazy Ninja roll or whatever--just let them do the basic stuff and watch them do it well and charge a fair price.
