I would've given no stars but that's not an option. This place is a joke. The textbooks (and everything else) are expensive, the staff is mainly students who are rude and don't know what they're talking about, and I've found the same books through Barnes & Noble / Amazon for 1/3 of the price that I paid for here. I suggest you search online first because trying to return them is a hassle.
I've spent hundreds on books which 'weren't being used the next term,' they conveniently didn't tell me this when all they do to check is scan it. They wouldn't buy them back so I'm stuck with them.
According to the staff, the policy changes over the summer term. Apparently you only have 2 days after classes begin to make returns/exchanges unless you drop the class? I find that funny considering this change in policy for the bookstore isn't documented at all through UNLV and trust me I looked lol
I've had numerous issues with this school I could go on about, but I imagine that wouldn't be appropriate considering this is just a review for the bookstore. Bottom line, save yourself the money and headache and shop somewhere else.
