After visiting the Malabar Farm for the maple syrup festival last week, I took my daughter and sister to a late lunch at this restaurant down the road. We had to wait almost 20 minutes for a table even though they were not that busy. We only got one menu and I had to ask twice for another one. I really wanted the pot roast but was told when I ordered that it wouldn't be ready for another 3 hours! I got the potpie instead. On the plus side, the food was really good and homey. And the place itself was a comforting decor of a real home.
