Athletes in the twilight of their careers can talk about what they once were and wistfully but proudly look back upon their glory days.
Unfortunately I think Micro Center is doing the same. However, there's a difference here: Unlike great athletes winding down with their careers, consumers still think they're getting Micro Center in their prime. People still think the prices are the best and the salespeople are serving their best interests. That is NOT the case now.
So, in the past if we waited a long time for somebody to answer the phone, for a salesperson to serve us, for a cashier to ring us up or for anything resembling customer service, well perhaps doing business with the best was worth all of this.
But this is the present, and it's simply not worth doing business with Micro Center any longer. Order your products online and save yourself a lot of money and grief.
