Visited Boston for the weekend in January (actually had nice weather!) and we walked the North Side (little italy of Boston) and happened upon Hanover Street - which is LOADED with a multitude of Italian restaurants. We had many places to pick from, but realized how many celebs stopped by at Strega - so we tried it out! After a bottle of wine and two wonderful dinners - i have to say - that was one EXCELLENT evening! The atmosphere is busy, but expected in this section of town - the best restaurants have lines out the door and lots of activity inside. Strega was no stranger to popularity on a Saturday night, so be sure to get there early! One note, make sure you check the price on the 'specials' because mine was a surprise $45 plate! but the fettucini, lobster, mussles, clams, and shrimp were top notch and the dinner was perfect. 5-star rating! Splurge and try Strega!
