The Cameron Park, CA Safeway has been redone (finally!) - the warm atmosphere makes shopping easier and things are so simple to find. The employees recognize you quickly and are always willing to lend a hand or go out of their way to make something special for you, whether it's a custom made dinner, decorate a cake, or just help you find something in the aisles.
I am a member of the Safeway Club card and it saves me (on average) at least 25% off the regular prices - which adds up over the year! Also, it's nice to get an extra 6 cents off gas when you use Safeway based gas-stations!
I highly recommend this supermarket, for fresh produce, great meats, quick after-work dinners or even Starbucks :)

although the prices are a bit high (what convenience store isnt' a little bit overpriced) these guys are always VERY friendly and seem to have just about EVERYTHING under the sun in their store...

Food 4 Less is one of those 'less travelled' supermarkets, but if you look for the good deals - there are LOTS to be found. Be warned though, lower costs mean you bag your own groceries. The food always seems to be fresh, but don't shop there on a whim - some items that aren't on sale seem to be a bit overpriced!
