Barsac is a reliably good French restaurant in the Valley near the major film studios. They have an excellent host, full bar (with TV's), and comfortably spaced tables. I've had my French favorites (escargot and rack of lamb), and they are very well prepared and plated. I've seen the restaurant interior and exterior appear in "Curb Your Enthusiasm" several times, which makes it sort of a comedy landmark. A very enjoyable place to have a meal.
