This is the BEST bubble tea in the land. The quality and flavor is incomparable and the prices are reasonable at 3.00 for a huge cup. I prefer the Milk teas (I usually go for the Classic Milk Tea, Honeydew, H.K Style or Almond). If you can't handle the dairy, they also make plain black teas w/ the bubbles as well.

Sure, the beans they use here are great and the pastry selection is generally good, but what really makes it are the baristas, which are very well trained in the art of making good espresso. It tends to get a little crowded on the weekends and evenings, but if you don't want to sit down, you'll be fine.

I used to love going to Shorty's when I partied in Belltown a lot. It was always a great place to end the evening--generally not crowded, cheap beer, good service AND, you have the benefits of getting a Danger Dog without having to walk down to the Frontier Room or stand in the long Meat Market line.

I am an absolute dessert fiend and chocolate is my favorite of all, so I am sure you can imagine the intensity of my love for Dilettante. I do not generally buy their individual chocolate pieces--I go in for a slab of cake and one of their many chocolate drinks, my favorite being the simple chocolate soda (a rich chocolate syrup + soda water). They also serve a small menu of cafe food, including the most wondrous beet salad that has ever entered my mouth. They recently opened a small "Mocha Cafe" in Westlake Center which is kind of like a Dilettante-Express. All of the salads and what not are made freshly, but pre-packaged and it's more of an espresso bar than a restaurant--you can sit down, but it's not a sit-down restaurant like the Capitol Hill store. Note: the chocolate sodas are much better at the Mocha Cafe AND the items on the menu are cheaper.

I am sad that this place is so popular because I would eat here everyday if I could. I am from Honolulu, so the mixture of Hawaiian and Asian food is comforting to me. It's not your traditional fare and the place can get warm. depending on the night, the sushi can be mixed, but it's creatively done and tasty. Sit at the bar, relax - first class service with a smile, the best items are often not on the menu.

I've been getting pretty tired of Neumo's, so much that I won't go there unless it's absolutely necessary. It's hot, over-crowded, and it smells like fish sticks. I haven't felt comfortable at a show there in at least a few months. Sometimes I'm down to get sweaty and gross and packed into a venue with a bunch of smelly folks, but it doesn't happen often. I think there's a lot of us who like to enjoy rock&roll music in a venue that doesn't rememble a large bag of popcorn chicken.

This is my favorite restaurant in the city, which is saying a lot considering the fact that I am not a vegetarian and I love meat. Reliable standards include spicy Oaxaca tacos and a meatless-but-meaty-tasting portobello Wellington. Because the menu changes weekly and some of the cuisine is quite creative, follow the servers' recommendations. For dessert, even the vegan selections are rich and moist. The popular brunches are served with a complementary shot of fresh orange juice. Don't miss the beignets with berries and ginger crème anglaise or breakfast quesadilla. Service, though often rushed during brunch, tends to settle down for lunch and dinner.

I have never ahd a bad experience with the food at Jai Thai--it is always prepared quickly and perfectly, with just the right mix of spices. I am always amazed at how flavorful the dishes are, eepecially when you compare it to the generally bland Asian food you find in the city. The prices are reasonable and if you don't go right at peak meal times, you won't have a problem getting seated quickly.

Who doesn't love Sneaker City? They ahve one of the largest collection of trendy sneakers (Converse, Adidas, Pumas) in nearly every style and color combination you can think of, including more specialty shoes and limited editions. The best part is that the prices are definitely reduced and the shoes are often on sale.
