Of the Chinese restaurants on the Ave, I don't really like China First. It's directly across from another restaurant for one, yet they act like they're the best.
Service is OK, food is OK. Sometimes you can get a deal with a coupon from The Daily or thesurvivalguide but unless you have a coupon, the value isn't really that great.
