A cake that feeds roughly 100 people will run you around 175$ here. The flavor offerings are fun, and of course you can get the traditional tasting cakes before you make the decision.
Cake flavors run the gamut from white to pineapple to Carrot and Chocolate. The fillings are mostly fruit like raspberry and apple, but also come in custard and buttercream.
The proprieter's showroom is mostly 80's style with fountains and staircases, and that is mostly his preferred style, but don't be scared off by this. This is one of the most reasonably priced cake makers in the area and the quality is quite good. He can be talked into other more decade appropriate styles... I've seen plenty of them. Just be sure that you are very explicit and bring pictures. Go over your notes with him, and you can expect a good product from him.
