TJ's is crowded every night of the week. One third of its patrons are heavy regulars. They are 50+, friendly with the owner and staff, and generally good for a conversation. Another third is young college-age yuppies that tend to make-out with each other and keep to themselves. The last third is a motley crew of passer-bys and first-timers. Once you're in, however, the eclectic nature of the crowd seems to melt away as everyone squeezes towards the tiny counter to order another round.
There is something special happening almost every night, so call ahead to see if there is karaoke, 1/2 price drinks, or a disk jockey.
