The first thing that struck me about this restaurant is that it did not look like the typical asian restaurant. The decor is very asian, but refined and not gaudy with dark woods and tasteful paintings on the wall. I was even more impressed when I tried the food. #1 Pho has the best spring rolls that I have ever had in my entire life. I could have skipped the entree and just chowed down on spring rolls and been perfectly happy, but the beef vermicelli was simply out of this world. . .and not expensive either. I tried my friends Pho Thai (which I had never had before) and was also very impressed. I highly recommend #1 Pho for refined, inexpensive dinner out.
