I walked into Grampa's, saw the floor, and just about turned around dead in my tracks. The floor was dirty with peanut shells (although I didn't know that's what was on the floor at the time), and the restaurant just didn't seem well kept. However, I decided to give it a try after some convincing from the group I was with. The staff seemed to fit the environment with their appearance, and I began to feel even more uncomfortable. After he waitress brought out our beers, we went through the ordering process. I started to relax a little more, as I found out where the dirt on the floor was coming from. I soon found out that customers chewed on peanuts and threw the shells on the ground. The restaurant actually encouraged this. Soon, I was having a fun time. I ordered catfish, and I couldn't believe how good it was. Good thing it was all you can eat because I filled up after 2 servings. The plates are HUGE and full of food. Great food, awesome price, and a little fun too!
