Heinen’s is a great, local grocery chain. Their prepared foods are outstanding and they have a great selection of wine, gourmet cheeses and other high-end items. Heinens is a bit pricier than some of the chains when it comes to the basics but their solid selection and quality makes up for that. I particularly like their deli meats. One other drawback is the rule against carts in the parking lot. But I guess you can’t have everything.
