PC Center is a good alternative to those big mainstream crowded stores such as BestBuy or Fry's. The selection may not be as extravagent as Fry's but you can usually find whatever you need. They have all the pieces you need to build your own computer from scratch or you can just purchase one of their complete systems that they may have for sale.
The prices are pretty good for computer parts.
