Dad's Garage was the envy of theaters across the nation for its ability to generate buzz and draw a young audience. That was a mixed blessing as its director was lured away by bigger money in a bigger city, but so far there's no sign that the theater is lagging under new leadership. Dad's Garage mixes it up with great improv nights that change their themes often enough to keep you coming back. They also have plays which aren't improved, but they're fun as well. The shows are fun and the place has a fun and casual vibe. You can take your beer and drinks to your seat and heckles from the audience are encouraged.
