I must say that Publix by far has the best selection of quality food items. The store is well maintained. Cleanliness seems to matter.
I have not met one rude employee in this whole entire store. I am greeted with a hello, and seem to get help with taking out my purchased grocery items. They seem very willing to provide service.
Publix has the most wonderful bakery, and also deli. They subs are made fresh to order and can not be beat. The prices seem to be a bit more than your typical subway, but you can really taste a difference in quality and freshness.
If purchasing birthday cakes, try to order them well in advance if you are picky like me. A bit of time ensures your desires will be filled.
I seem to find the freshest meats and of the best quality here at Publix. You pay for what you see. I don't see them tucking the fat under portions of meat and being dishonest like other places. I hate purchasing meat and then getting it home to find out i spent 10 or 15 dollars on a big piece of blubber, that i end up having to trim endlessly.
Publix seems to be more honest with people. I love it. I just can't always afford to shop there because items seem to be higher priced
