Barnacle Bill's is a laid back restaurant in one of the fancier towns at the Jersey Shore. As you enter the nautically themed dining room, you'll find peanuts and bowls you can help yourself to a helping. Toss the shells on the floor while you wait. If seating is available in the bar, try to snag a table next to the window and you'll get a nice view of the river.
The seafood here is great and a good value. Even though the house specialty is fish, they grill up a mean burger here, too. Which is often what lures me there. Try a burger with cheese sauce and sauteed mushrooms and onions. Delish.
Rumor has it the MaiTai's are very potent, so designate a driver before you down one.
