A bit hard to find upstairs above St. Mark's Bookstore (take the elevator) this Japanese food (and video and cosmetics) oasis in the East Village has all the fresh sushi fish, seaweed salad, mochi, and tea you could ever want. You gotta try the minty fresh eye drops found only here and in Japan, that are like mouthwash for your eyes- burns at first but then leaves your eyes felling like a cool winter breeze.
