Folly Beach has a unique fishing pier. It is tremendous! If you park in their parking lot, there is a fee to park but that fee is deducted from your fishing fee. They provide the poles in the fee and you can bring your own bait or buy bait there. Depending on the day (if the weather is right) all the fishing spots could be taken or you can have the run of the pier. This is a great place for people of all ages but it is over the ocean so use extreme caution with small children. It's not a place to let little children roam, but it is really fun for them. You can park on the street and walk on the pier at no charge. However, to fish you must pay.
