I never realized how much Vulcan meant to the city of Birmingham until it was closed and taken down for renovation a few years ago. Vulcan park is now a very nice place for people to visit during the day and at night. The views from atop Vulcan at night give a wonderful view of Birmingham. The museum is also pretty nice with the most exciting part being the part where you can light the torch that used to be a part of the statue. They've also recently added WiFi to the park allowing internet access to people enjoying the park.
