Good food but not worth the price

On my first and only visit to Hot and Hot, I was a bit underwhelmed. I had heard fairly good things about the restaurant, but the seafood was fairly average. It wasn't bad, but considering you were paying $25-30 for fish that you can get at another restaurant for under $20, it is not great. The desserts are decent and the wine selection is excellent. However, if you want to spend this kind of money on a restaurant, there are other places in Birmingham that are much better.
