S & R Goldsmith is a family-owned jeweler near Food Town in Tipp City. The husband works as the goldsmith in the back of the store, and the wife and a couple other employees help customers. Don’t be surprised if they run to the back for the owner’s advice since he is very knowledgeable about what is available and what works best. They have a nice selection of jewelry in stock, but their specialty is customized jewelry. They have numerous catalogs to browse, and your selections usually come in within a few days. However, if you can’t find exactly what you have in mind, the owner will help you design the perfect piece, and he will make it himself. Although I’ve always found what I wanted in a catalog, I’ve heard he’s good. The service is great, and so are the prices. I always feel like I’m getting a quality piece for a fair price. Maybe that’s why this small store always has at least a couple customers every time I go there.
