Papa Don's is a small sandwich shop located in South Pasadena. They have a wide selection of sandwiches that you can choose from and they'll make it for you right when you order. They use only the freshest meats, cheeses, and vegetables in their sandwiches. THe sandwiches are a reasonable price and are fairly large in size.

The name for this place is slightly misleading, as they fix more than just televisions. They fix countless other electronic equipment all at a reasonable price. Our TV shorted out and needed to be fixed and we took it to this place and within a week they had repaired it. The hardest part was just getting the tv from the house to the car and into the store. Everything after that was a breeze. Just drop it off, wait to get the call saying it was ready to be picked up, and you're ready to go. The employees are very nice and knoweldgeable. They'll give you a price quote even before you commit to the service.

Located in northern Pasadena, Pak Mann offers 'old school' arcade games from the 80's as well as those of today. This place has been underfire for operating late at night and its neighbors have been trying to close it for many years. Go now before its too late to play the old guys and relieve all the memories.

The Bookhouse is a bookstore that you can tell is owned by a book enthusiast. The store is actually just a home that was turned into a bookstore, with room after room filled with books. Many of the books are used, but it doesn't matter too much, as they are all still readable. The owner will also buy your old books at a fair price. You can basically get a new book for free by trading in your used ones.

Identified only by a small image on their front window, Book'em remains a great hideaway for finding that one book you want. They carry many speciality books that are hard to find elsewhere or cost a lot. Their staff is very helpful and give excellent recommendations. Their prices for common books are usually at MSRP, but they sometimes run special discounts.

Their employees are very helpful and can help you locate that hard to find hat, even for sport teams from outside of the area. The cost for a hat ranges from about $20 to $25, which I think is normal for a hat, especially for the special ones. THe place is very small, and easy to walk by and miss.

This place is your generic cleaners. Drop off your clothes in the morning and they're ready to be picked up by the evening. The do a good job, but nothing really too exceptional. They can do a lot of clothes in a single day and still get it ready for you by the end of the day too. They also listen to any requests you may have such as extra starch or no starch at all. I haven't been disappointed by Bryan's nor have I been impressed, hence the rating above.

This place has saved me countless times when I need to get a gift or a card for my girlfriend. Located in the Universty Town Center, Movatto specializes in carrying asian products, such as moshimaro, pukka, and countless others. This store competes with Morning Glory in my book and only wins out because it is so close to where i live. The staff is very nice, they will wrap your gifts at no charge and help you find things and order them if they run out.

This is a great place to get a haircut. I've been to this place several times, the only drawback is that I get my hair cut about every four weeks, and Biyoshi's is slightly expensive. Other than that, its great. The staff is very nice and friendly, making you feel comfortable even if its your first time. They also provide you with some ideas on how you can change your hair style if you want a new look.

Taco Rosa is hidden in a shopping center off of Sierra Bonita in Newport Beach. Owned by the same family that runs Taco Mesa (see my other review), they offer similar food, but I think that the quality of the food is slightly better. However, the better food does come at a cost, as each dish costs slightly more. This is negated by the service that you get and the environment. The waiters/resses are all very nice and willing to give suggestions if you dont know what to get. The dessert is also wonderful, make sure you save space for it.
