The Pittsburgh Zoo is a really nice way to spend a day. It's not the San Diego Zoo but it's well done and you can see the animals in seminatural habitats without walking outrageously far. We were given a zoo membership with an adopt-an-animal (a black bear) as a wedding gift which was a really neat idea if you're looking for a unique gift for animal lovers. We enjoyed it so much we renewed it ourselves.
