La Placita is a great mexican place in a prime location in Madison. There are nightly specials that range from $2 margaritas to buy one get one combo meals. They have kids eat free night also. The menu is pretty extensive and includes everything from salads to steak. They have american cuisine also for those who don't like mexican food - but this selection is very limited. The best dessert in town is here - the banana chimi. Drenched in ice cream, chocolate sauce, and cinnamon, this dessert is sure to please your sweet tooth.
