This is a great little day trip. Drive up in the morning and spend the day up here. There is so much to see in the store, that it is like a musuem almost. You can eat in the little cafe they have in the store and now you can even purchase some other holiday stuff, other than Christmas. They have a nice selection of the Department 56 houses and nativities. You can find a glass blown ornament for anyone or any purpose. I would avoid going here just prior to Christmas if you don't like crowds, because of course in the Christmas season it gets very crowded. But then again it is a great way to get in the Christmas mood for any time of the year. You can also stop off at the Birch Run outlets or the rest of Frankenmuth while you are out here.
