this cafe's recently changed its name to luce. they offer free wifi (very much appreciated since starbucks charges) 'n wonderful coffee 'n pearl drinks. i haven't tried their desserts, but they look delicious. i like how the inside of the cafe looks like someone's house. it's very comforting for some weird reason. the decoration feels like old-time european style. the server's very nice. they serve green tea latte that i found very refreshing on a hot afternoon. the music's okay on days they stay away from oldies (sorry, if you're an oldie fan!). i guess if it's not jazz, classical, or another relaxing type of music, ambiance doesn't match, imo. there's a private room in the back where you can study w/ a group of friends or a little living room area in the front where you can chat w/ your guests.
