I haven't been there this year, but we went a few times last summer. This is a public pool. Beside the huge lap pool, there is a mini water park for children. It is basically a small playground and wading pool in one.
If you are familiar with the West Palm Beach area, there is a water park called Rapids. That oneis huge. Then, in ROyal Palm Beach, there is Calypso Bay, which is smaller than Rapids, but still has much to offer kids. Lake Lytal's "mini water park" is smaller than Calypso Bay's playpark. I would say it is more for children under 5 or 6 years old. I wish they would enforce it, too because sometimes it gets crowded and if you're a strong enough swimmer, you should play in the big lap pool and leave the kiddie area for the small non-swimmers.
