Though not as radical as Food for Though, I like the cultural and political books at Amherst books. I also like their graphic novel section. I also think that they sell more books about the Amherst area and journals than other downtown bookstores. They graciously offer a 10 or 15 percent discount to graduate students too. It is my first choice if I'm looking to buy new books.
