hey, i'm not old! i'm still hip! i can still party! i swear; i can! however, i just feel it's such a shame that pretty good japanese food gets such shabby treatment when miyake turns into a big frat party every single weekend night. the only worse affront along these lines is miyagi's on the sunset down in socal. that's _really_ awful. anyway, yeah... sure, you can have a good sake bomb party at miyake for what it's worth. however, you won't be able to hear anything your friends are saying to you. if i wanted that, i'd just head up to sf to a good nightclub instead.
