Down the Hatch has become the local hangout for young people of the area. There are always people there. It is a gorgeous location, and if you're on Candlewood Lake, you can easily pull your boat right up and eat outside if you'd like - which a lot of people actually do. If you're on the lake, you can see it because it is around the bend from Candlewood Inn and has blue and white striped umbrellas.
