My brakes weren't working like they used to and it was hard to slow down so I would try to drive slower just in case, until it got to the point where it barely worked. So I knew I needed to get it fixed, but I did not have the cash to do that. But my insurance company worked with me to help me out and I got my brakes fixed finally and I think they work pretty well.
